How to create & edit wiki pages

This guide has been added since the original is absent.
Creating a page
1. First, create a link to the page you want to create. Find where you want to add the link and click on the "edit this page" link at the bottom.

2. Enter the text of the link enclosed in double brackets (I can't show you here since it will display as a link, not as what you will have to type, but you can see what I mean by clicking on the edit link on any page with a link).

Note: There are 2 types of links - those to wiki new wiki pages created with double brackets, and those which are external www links.

3. Click on save and include a summary of change so others can see what has been done in the "recent changes"page. The page will now show the changes.

4. You will see a ? next to the link you have created since the page does not yet exist. Click on the link and it will take you to the page. You can now enter text.
Formatting text
You can format text as bold, italics or with headings. Enclose the text within two apostrophies either side of the text for italics, or three for bold. This will only work for a short block of text, not for a whole paragraph. Text you wish to format as a heading must have a number of the = sign enclosing the text with a space between. The largest heading uses a single = and a small heading uses four.

Tables
You can make a simple table by enclosing the text of each cell with || on either side of each cell. Separate rows are entered on separate lines

Cell 1 row 1cell 2 row 1
Cell 1 row 2cell 2 row 2

www links
Enclose links in [ ] symbols, first with the link eg. https://www.diyaudio.com then leave a space and type the text you want to display for the link. You will have to edit this page to see the text of how this is entered, but here is an example:

Headings

You will need to click on the "edit this page" button to see how these headings were created, but be careful not to unintentionally change anything.

Heading 1

Heading 2

Heading 3

Heading 4

Heading 5
This is most of what you need to know to create and edit wiki pages.
