Adason and all you other guys ,
Couldn´t help myself, had to try Lampizators mod. to avoid the opamps, and boy was I surprised. This moves a perfectly good CD-player into the HiEnd league. As an addition to Lampizators mod, I added a trick from my own personal tube-guru. If you´re usin a double triode and only using one half, float the plate, catode and getter on the second half, then combine the two getters, this doubles the capacity of the tube (doesn´t matter since we are in the audio range), but also reduces any noise there might be. Don´t know how this actually works, but it does. Now it has heavenly mid´s, smooooooth treble, extremely powerful bass, and the soundstage is wider and more than a mile deep, wouldn´t trade it for anything, not even a McIntosh MCD-500. THIS IS GREAT.
