Very Beautiful!! You will be providing your Pearl 3 with an extremely low noise and low ripple "raw DC" input, quite a jolly treat. Congratulations!
I have 3 UDP3 PCB for free.
It worked well.
Shipping 7usd no tracking number.

Not completely finished with internal wiring (XLR and cables have to be attached to holders) But Mark wanted to see pics of dual case implementations of his UDP3 🙃 Setting up was simple work. Used Supra Lorad MK2 1.5 for umbilical cord, like the lightish blue.
Thanks @6L6 . Feeling honored you like my build 🙃
Internal wiring not completely finished yet. Cables need to be tightened to the PCB corner mounts with cable fasteners. XLR still to be connected. Pearl 3 leds dont know yet. Perhaps its too much light disco 😅
Internal wiring done with drilled PTFE silver plated wires. Umbilical cord is Supra Lorad MK2. Like the light blue, seems to fit.

I have a handful of UDP3 boards in the swap meet for a great price if anyone is interested. I got a decent price break from JLCPCB as I ordered 30 qty in a big order of PCBs.
Say I wanted to run a UDP3 on a non-standard transformer and obtain a different output voltage.
Also say I was a mid-wit who doesn't understand the 'clamped capacitance multiplier' thingy around Q3/U1 and Q4/U2.
Could I simply bypass the whole complex of R9,R11,R13, ZD3,U1,R15 and its negative equivalent.
From what my low-IQ brain can understand. Aside from an increase in output ripple I would have a more variable output voltage based mostly on the input voltage and the voltage drop across Q1/Q2?
Eg: 18vac secondaries giving 25.4vdc - 2.2vdc (2x voltage drop due to dual bridge) - 3vdc (Q1/Q2) -0.2vdc (L1/L2 @150ma) = +/-20vdc out

Just finished my UDP3 with Hammond 229B40. Though it works well, the transformer is humming and vibrating. Does this indicate a problem with the transformer or the application?
Does anyone have spare transformer PCBs like the pictured here that are willing to sell? I am assuming these will fit the AMGIS that are in the Pearl3 BOM?
