Will handles impede Airflow?

I am about to start building a tapped horn sub for live sound purposes.

It is a large enclosure (roughly 4'x2'x3') built out of 3/4" plywood.

My question is, will the 2.5" recess for handles mess with the airflow too much in a tapped horn?

If they are the curved handles don’t worry about it. If they are the square sided ones that stick into the cabinet they still don’t do too much to the airflow.
