3Way DSP Amp + adapter for Dante AES67 board.

Aliexpress sells the Audio Network Transmission Interface A404 module, which supports the DANTE data transfer protocol.

The A404 module can be connected to the 3-Way DSP Amp using the adapter I assembled.

This solution, using Dante software, allows you to transmit two stereo channels to the 3-Way DSP Amp via the Ethernet.

The price of the 3Way DSP Amp + adapter board without the DT AES67 module is $105.

Attached to the post is an archive of a folder with files for the starter project for Sigma Studio.

The A404 module offers advanced flexibility in networked audio systems by enabling not only audio reception via Ethernet, but also bi-directional audio streaming—transmitting two stereo channels back into the network.

At the heart of the system, the ADAU1452 DSP seamlessly interfaces with the A404 via I²S, both receiving and sending two stereo audio streams. Thanks to its integrated ASRC (Asynchronous Sample Rate Converter), clock synchronization is fully handled by the A404 module, ensuring robust and jitter-free communication.

Moreover, the ADAU1452 allows flexible audio routing: SPDIF input can be sent over Ethernet, or audio from Ethernet can be output via SPDIF—perfect for hybrid setups.

One key design detail: the A404 module continuously provides an active I²S BCLK signal, which keeps the clock detector engaged at all times. For this reason, automatic input switching between SPDIF and Ethernet is not supported. Instead, input selection must be defined within the SigmaStudio project.

However, I recommend keeping the input selector block in your SigmaStudio design, as it helps prevent power-on artifacts such as clicks—caused by the different startup timings of the A404 and ADAU1452 modules.
