Hey everyone I'm new to this site and was just wondering if anyone knew some universal spl box specs for a 15" subwoofer. I just purchased a (one,1) 15" vibe space. 1200 rms 3600 max and would like to build a box that would work well with this sub, or if anyones built a box or has this sub with some box information that'd be great! The size of the isn't much of a concern, of course nothing crazy big probably 3-4 cu/ft would be perfect, and it of course needs to be vented. Thanks!
Build designs such as drawings/pictures would be great as well. Everything helps!

On my bassbox pro it dosent have them as a company with info to the parameters of their Subwoofers . If you can get them for me I can design you a SPL BOX .
When a company builds a subwoofer and lists the info like this sub will work great in this box . What can they guarantee? The only thing they can guarantee is that in the box they recomend is Its gonna sound 10 different ways in 10 different cars .
In my honest opinion you need a box design for your car .
There are 3 key points on where you want the most pressure from a sub in a car/truck.
The 3 points are passanger kick panel, Passanger side dash And the 3rd is right at the back of your head.
Yeah you can build a 3 cubic ft box for your 15 and hook it up but what happens if you dont like the way it sounds? Well your out the money time and you will probably be like this sub sucks and go buy a new one.
So now your out the money for the box ,sub and your time.
Go to google and look up PWK designs and read some of his stuff and watch some of his videos on you tube. That man is probably 1 of the best box designers out there and can get you where you wanna be with your 1 15.
He designed a box for my friend for 1 15" sub and he was hitting around 145.6 DB with 1 sub.

Alright thanks for the recommendation mike, I'll be sure to go check him out as soon as possible. Its going in a hatchback car so it should hit pretty good. I understand what you were saying about the sound but i'd have a lot of trial and error that i'd be doing before I fully vinyled and completely finished it. But I will be sure to check him out!
Moonmtx02 I need this info from your subwoofer(s) Fs=resonance frequency of the driver. Qes=Electrical Q of the driver at Fs. Qms=Mechanical Q of the driver at Fs. Qts=Total Q of the driver at Fs. Re=DC resistance of the driver's voice coil. .Vas=Equivalent air compliance.
Pe=Thermal capacity of the driver, in Watts. Sd=Effective surface area of the driver. Xmax=Linear (one-way) travel of the cone.
