I have 2 x PD 2150 new in the box shipped here from England late 2007 by a friend I took it out of storage facility and working with sine143 for the new folded 21" version of Bertha sub. We're still working on the folds its in the subwoofer section of this site, I will PM him on what is in progress since he has to many projects now.

MOS and Studio 54 and Stereo/Montreal just to name a few the original loaded with custom 2 X 18" Emmy woofers then went to JBL 2242 later years then RCF in EAW 882. These were nostalgic designs from the 70's and they hit you like a freight train! With a Levan extension it will go down to 20 Hz and I've felt it years ago. I want to resurrect this design by Richard Long and Associates from NYC but in 21" woofer namely PD2150 which I have on hand new. There's another thread on another site that my friend Rog started years ago search MOS restoration project, look it up.

WOW. that thread just got me soooo excited. I was a regular at the MOS back in the 90's. Didn't really pay much attenon to the system back then. at the time there was no other system that can rival that rig. awesome.

Thanks very much for making my day. Post some build pics of your project here and over at speakerplans when it takes off.

Yeah definitely, I will post as soon as sine143 has time I will build these and plan to use it in Miami Winter Music Conference 2015. I was always curious in the 80's and 90's how it is folded, when I DJ'd I also bought back then a knocked up JBL W-Bin from cheap plywood from AST New York and loaded it with JBL 2240 sounded ok but what did I know about sound back then as long as it thumped I was ok to go. Powered them with MT1200. Then I bought 4 EAW BH-800 subs and 2 MR102 and 2 JBL 2445 on 2380 horn sounds loud and OK but still not knowing the technology that went in W-Bin like Bertha, I was and still inspired by this design that is why I am building these 21" version since I have the drivers for them laying around. Projected size is (not a one man lift!) 48"WX28"HX48"D. I'll PM you when I start building and post here the build pics.

Do you suppose this fold is worth pursuing? 24" wide for 18TBW100, 28 wide for 21SW152. Exact dimensions TBD, but gets 3 meters of path length easy in a 48x48 without a lot of wasted space.
