Hi all, I am considering a 250.8 as a replacement for my current amp - PSA BHK 250.
I am facing a possible relocation to Europe from the US though and will move most of my equipment as well. Is this possible to convert the 250.8 power supply for 220v operation? I did read somewhere in these pages it being possible with a previous version (i think the 250.5) but not sure. All my other gear preamp, DAC etc can have their wiring adjusted for 220v.
Many thanks

just for punctuality reasons, it's mostly 230Vc in Europe
few pics showing mains wires of Donut inside could help

There may be other changes necessary to convert it from 120VAC to 230VAC than just making a series primary connection.
This is a high power amplifier, best to contact the factory tech support. https://www.passlabs.com/
If you don't already own one, just buy it already configured for 230VAC. Or buy it in Europe.

besides halving fuse value, I can't see what else?
yeah, adequate mains cable/plug too
Different AC chassis socket, different line cord, different thermistor/fuse, different connectors/PCB for internal AC power wiring.
All depends on how the amp is built.

if there is inherent provision for multivoltage primary inside of actual amp, everything is covered, except issue of plug on end of ( detachable) power cord
IEC receptable is universal thing all over the world
that, speaking from years of staring at (PL) Goats
anyhow, Ser. No of amp in question, sent in e-mail with same question to PL, should solve any dilemma
