wireing
I am in the middle of planning out wiring diagram for ear buds that all wires disconnect. Right ear and left ear will each have a female 3.5 jack. With a cable going to a "Y", 3 female 3.5 jacks connected. then a cable from Y to devise.
Is this how I would wire it?
Right speaker- "+" to right pin on jack "-" to ground pin on jack
left speaker- "+" to left pin on jack "-" to ground pin on jack
"Y" adapter- right side jack- right pin connected to device right pin
left side jack- left pin connected to device left pin
both side jacks ground pin connected to device ground pin
all 3 wires(1 for each earbud to "Y" and 1 from "Y" to device, right to right pin, left to left, ground to ground.
any problems with this wiring?

When in doubt check continuity with male to male 3.5mm cable or 3.5mm to dual RCA. On 3.5mm cable tip is left, ring is right, sleeve is ground.
I found it out. 1-ground 2- Left 3-Right
