A "Gryphon Tabu Century" inspired amplifier

First words, this is not my personal works, it belongs to my closed friend who is a very well-known designer, but not really English fluent. Since I think this might get a lot attention when introducing to diyAudio, I ask for his permission to bring it out here.

This is a design inspired by the famous Gryphon Tabu Century (a.k.a NAD S300). It is an integrated 100W Class AB amplifier.

Some worthily mentioned points:

+ Fully dual mono design
+ Non Feedback topology
+ Non input capacitors
+ Legendary Sanken 2SC2922 + 2SA1216
+ DC Servo circuit to keep the offset always way below 10mV
+ Bias current of 50mA so only a reasonably small heatsink is required
+ Option to bypass the volume control to use your own preamplifier
+ Onboard speakers protection
+ Parts available from Mouser/Digikey

The amplifier was thoroughly built and tested on many different speakers. There will be suggested BOMs for either low or high sensitivity speakers. Detailed building and calibration instructions will also be provided for the most straightforward build.

I could provide the Sanken 2SC2922 + 2SA1216 devices if you'd like to get them along with the boards. 4 pairs needed for a working amp.

The power supply board is 145mm x 260mm. Minimum heatsink required is 200mm x 100mm. PCBs will be 2mm/2oz.

Estimated price for the set (power supply board + 2 heatsink mounted boards + soft start board) is $75 if we could reach at least 20 people. Extra 4% Paypal fee will be added. Please note, as you could see the boards are quite large and heavy, shipping will be probably a bit more than usual. Tracking number will be provided to your Paypal address.

Below is the spreadsheet to sign up, PM me your Paypal address after signing up. I will leave it here for 7 days, after that, I will send out the invoices to collect payments and have the boards manufactured.

Any question, feel free to ask, I will try to be as quick as possible as a middle man. 🙂
