These are great for I/V conversion on balanced dacs. I use a pair on my dual TDA1541 dac with 2 pairs of 75r I/V resistors.

Because they have bifilar windings, common mode digital noise cancels out and also the DC current offset of the 1541s is not an issue since the magnetisation is nullified by the contra flowing current.
