How is critical to have high quality capacitor on negative input for non-balanced configuration (negative input is grounded)? Should I use PP capacitor? Any experience with different capacitors here?
Also I had to change the feedback capacitor to 10pf to get rid of spikes with square waves. Any comments about this?
I did not find anything in the corresponding thread.

I think the general consensus is that capacitors in the signal
path are critical.
PolyProp is very nice, but I do get by with the Elna silk
electrolytics.

Thank you Mr. Pass. What is capacitor type you used in production Aleph Js? According to pictures and cap size it was some PET capacitor.
PS. I'm using Evox Rifa MMK 1uFx63V as C1. Is it good enough?
PP capacitors are pretty big for Aleph J boards I have.

You don't have to use a capacitor at all, but you will find
yourself with some DC offset until it warms up.
