AMD 36-110

Hello:

I happen to be working in an AMD 36-110 now. The amplifier does not have a schematic available. The unit has has all of the electrolytic caps (except the 40/40/40 @ 350V) replaced and some of the signal caps as well.

The amp now plays a 'distorted' 5 watts of Single Ended Power.

The tubes inside the amp are:

4x 6BQ5/7189 (Power tubes)

2 x 12AX7 (Input tubes)

1 x ECC85/6AQ8 (Driver tube)

1 x EZ81/6CA4 (Rectifier)

Can you confirm that these are the correct tubes? There are no markings on the amp, and the ECC85/6AQ8 tubes measures at a low 90 Volts on the plate. For a driver tube sounds low.

I would be happy to help you fix your amp in case it needs help.
