I was researching drills for pcb construction and came across this company's equipment. They don't appear to be very commonly available (at least in the US). Can anyone comment or recommend from experience? They are a bit more expensive than most, but I don't mind paying for better quality. They also have a nifty milling machine.

I have quite a few of their tools (dremel-type tool with drill press and router head, standard drills press, vice etc.) and most of it is very good quality and feels that way too. Their minitools are sort of the european version of Dremel (but better imho). What is it you are looking at in particular?

I was mainly looking at their little drill press. I would like to be able to drill a line of hole in a pcb, like for an ic, and have them be in a straight line 🙂

Though their small milling maching is very tempting.

I have only tried that very briefly a couple of times, but it feels very solid and the accuracy is pretty good. One that would probably annoy me a bit is that the max. speed is only 8,500 rpm which imho is a little low for small drills such a 0.6 or 0.8 mm. I don't think you'll be disappointed with the quality in any way though (the small vice that comes with it is an exception. It's not really useful for anything). The mill is probably mainly intended for machining very small mechanical parts. I imagine drilling pcb's with it would be quite tiresome because you have to lower the bit using the rotating handle which is quite a bit slower than on the drill press. Just out of curiosity, what is the price for the drill press in the US?
