Hi,
someone knows how the audio research d400 sounds?
I would try to handle a pair of Martin Logan Quest Z with It,but I don't Know how it could sound ...
Have It enough dynamics,handlling ability, dynamics?
Thank you very much

I would first make sure it can operate with a low impedance load;
current is going to be necessary to run the quest panels. You need
to find a dealer who will let you audition the amp--in your home. That
is really the only way you will know for sure. High end audio is like
modern art; everybody has an opinion, nobody hangs it in their house.

Hi Chris,
thank you for your reply;
Do you know some power amplifiers (2000 - 2500 dollars in the used market)that can handle very well the low impedence of the Quest Z?
May the Krell 100s can be one of this?
Thank you very very much!

This is a very good power amplifier, with natural, dynamic sound. It has 8 pairs of output devices, and is able to output 60 Amps peak into 1 ohm. Quite low global NFB, about 9dB.
