AVR Microprocessor Replacement & Programming

Hello all, Does anyone have experience with programming a new processor after replacing the microprocessor like Denon AVR-X....
If anyone has done this before can you please help me?

I have a DENON AVR-X3400H failure microprocessor

According to the service manual, after changing the chip, the main software needs to be loaded, but there is no information on how to do it.

Please help me.

First you have to get the software from Denon. Probably there is an app note too or something like that for the programming procedure.

Actually there is a directive about firmware update on service manual but I couldn't understand how can I download it from SDI. What does mean SDI. I cloudn't find it.

Companies sometimes have password protected repositories for firmware upgrades. Often only authorized service centers have access.

Unfortunately, authorized services are not reliable., They offer a complete motherboard replacement price for a $10 part failure on the motherboard. So even if your device is up to date, you have to buy a new one due to high repair costs
