Looking for replacement mid-bass drives, right one is rattling. Not original, they were replaced like 15 years ago, not sure if I have much trust that they were replaced with the most appropriate ones, internet market wasn't such a big thing at the time, and I remember driving a bit to the importer. (Monacor SPW-165/4).
Can't even remember if I threw away the old ones.
And thanks, first post here.

Welcome to the forum!
If I read you correctly, you are seeking to replace the Monacor SPW-165/4 with a 165 mm mid/bass driver suited to the B&W's sealed enclosure.
You need a driver with a Qts between 0.4 and 0.7 and the universal Monacor SPH-174KE fits that bill at 0.51 if your enclosure can accept its dimensions.

That's the ball rolling. The experts may be able to suggest a driver having the maximum compatibility.

Actually the Monacor are the ones that are here now, they didn't actually fit perfectly and not sure if they were the correct ones. Maybe there are some close to the original, what values should I look into besides ohm and size?

As I read it, you currently have Monacor SPW-165/4 which I suggest replacing with Monacor SPH-174KE - if they fit.
Am I wrong?
what values should I look into besides ohm and size?
Qts as I mentioned. Sensitivity should be a good match (as in the case of my suggestion). The loudspeaker design experts may be able to comment on the driver's Vas in relation to the enclosure volume.
What is your budget as that may determine your choice of replacements?
...not sure if they were the correct ones.
The Monacor SPW-165/4 may have been more suitable for a ported enclosure. You need drivers suitable for a sealed enclosure.
Sorry, I notice that my recommended replacements are 8 ohm and not 4 ohm.
That difference could be adjusted for in the crossover, but we should look out for a suitable 4 ohm alternative with the appropriate sensitivity and Qts.
Nothing lost as we should be drawing the attention of the loudspeaker design experts!

I don't even remember how I got into the Monacor, never contacted B&W, think I got the contact from a company related to the music business and not HiFi, it was before everything was online and even tho I can replace them and solder the parts I have no clue behind the math that goes into them, just asked for a replacement part and got sold these.
And now that I think back it was more of a seller talk than a technician talk, I was just happy that I replaced the drivers and never put too much talk into it.
Now I have the right one rattling I don't mind changing both into something more proper.
Not planning to spend much, as I could probably buy something second hand that sounds the same fairly cheap.

You could look out for a used pair of B&W 600i speakers coming up at auction.
Here, in the UK, there's currently a pair with working mid/bass drivers, but damaged tweeters, up for sale at a 'buy it now' price of only £65.
