Bandpass Box for Pioneer Ts-W304R

This is my first box design. I have a pioneer TS-W304R sub woofer. I'm looking for a Bandpass Box.
Initially I started with "AJ Bandpass Designer" software. Port location is not mentioned in the software. Is it important to place port at a specific location?

Please give me your feedback before I start my construction. Any suggestions are welcome.

Regards
Udhay

you could use a right angle slot port but it could be difficult to adjust plus you'd have to compensate for the port's volume. A 10cm diameter port with flared ends to reduce turbulence and compression might be enough - sub builders should know. It should be ok to have the port at a right angle to the driver. The port could project out of the enclosure.

Yikes! This driver wants to 'feel' a ~1070.4 L/78.9 L BP4 tuned ~28.4 Hz, so any higher tuning will be somewhat under-damped just as your sim indicates.

FWIW, the filter [front] chamber is normally ½ the compression [rear] chamber in a BP4 alignment, so rounding yours to 74 L/37 L calculates a 40 Hz Fb. Don't know why your slightly different alignment is off so much at 50 Hz.

Efficiency is quite low at ~84 dB, so with a low 4.7 mm Xmax, power is limited to ~20 W max down low and ~100 W from 32 Hz-up, so in theory you can get by with a shorter 10.2 cm diameter vent.
