BBE 362 NR Sonic Maximizer

can i connect the BBE 362 Sonic maximizer to the effects loop on my amp?

Looking at page 6 of the manual, they show it hooked up between the preamp out and power amp in of a powered mixer. It seems as this would be the same as in an effects loop. Or on page 8 between separate guitar preamp and power amp. Should be the same as in effects loop. Here's the link to the manual. The only thing to be concerned about is the input impedance. Most pedals are around 1Meg ohm. The 362 is 50K ohm. Maybe a little more research is called for?http://www.bbesound.com/products/manuals/362nr_manual.pdf

only question is why?
sorry not casting on the BBE it can be a useful effect but if we're talking a guitar amp with distortion i've heard that attempted before and it wasn't pretty...
