Hi everyone, I'm new here
I would like to ask for help, looking for the "best" high end speaker plan for 12-15" fullrange. (like Philips 12100, 1256, Zeiss3060pb, audio nirvana15")
Dual speakers prefer, as Lowther Auditorium Acousta or corner speakers
Thank You

In fact very few 12"+ drivers are suitable for back-loaded horns.
The T/S parameters of the drivers from your list guide to an open-baffle constructions mostly.
One of the appropriate 12" driver is Supravox 285-2000 which returns an amazing results from simulations in BLH. The horn is huge - the internal volume is 390 ltr (~14 ft3) and I never accomplished it. I should mention, that 285-2000 is a wide-range driver with a frequency range up to 7kHz and it needs a tweeter.

Thank You for answer, I find the same way🙁 I use them now open baffle, just thinking about a "compact" (smaller🙂 version. Difficult question, because these drivers are so big, 2-300 liter cabinet would be ok, still smaller than a "full wall" 🙂 ...still looking for - maybe i find an original Philips plan or something else.... thank You,

with practical size constraints and typical large FR parameters where qts runs high, a "Karlsonator" would be a viable option - - this Karlsonator12 sounds very good with Nirvana's original Super10 and with Eminence 12LTA -detailed plans for 12", 8" and 6.5" drivers are available free at Greg B's StupidHifiTricks portfolio (the driver mounted below is a BG20 - all the builder had on hand) Forum member XRK971 can examine the Karlsonator in akabak to come up with one for a 15"

wow...great ideas.
Elias, i spend this day with this box🙂 really interesting, but the carl zeiss is about 25 cm deep, and i dont want crossover, so I must find something else. But really thank You, idea is in my mind, i shoud build this from recommended parts...

Freddi...close...really...!!! thank You, I know this box like PA bass horn, but coud be ok...and i really like the variable drivers. I have a pair Zeiss, pair Siemens, etc. I used BG20 2x2 in a Martin horn, im really regret when i sold it. ...this way i'm here for "plan hunt" 🙂

I like this horn for 12" drivers. But it's meant for corners and to be placed against backwalls, no angling in. Not ideal for large fullrange drivers (unless they have a strong rising response). It is supposedly quite flexible in terms of suitable drivers. I see in hornresp simulations that it "likes" more vintage type parameters, somewhat higher Qts and light membranes etc.
