Has anyone had experience with Black Art output transformers? They are made locally here in Australia and appear to have great specs. Specs are an unreliable indicator of performance so I'm looking for references on these.
My alternatives are Tamura etc but they are terribly expensive.
I'm particularly interested in 2k7:8/4-80CT.3, the site is shown below.

Hi .
Maybe you can find something interesting here?

This guy is located in Australia and knows a thing or two about tubes and transformers.

give lucas a call, having someone who is willing to talk you you and help you work though a design is a strong asset. if he is indeed local it is an even bigger plus! off the shelf stuff is nice, but getting it done for what you need is best.
(disclaimer... i only know lucas through the joenet from many years ago... his website indicates he will adjust airgaps to accomodate the end user which suggests he attempts ot give you what you need, rather than what he happens to have on the shelf... which is very rare these days)
