I would give DOGC a try. It is a variation on a QUAD Current Dumping theme, low parts count, pdf for pcb is available (both low power and high power version), specs are fine and many people made it.

May I suggest you a Calor Gold amplifier?... I built Modus amp, but IMHO I prefer Calor Gold amp... but Calor Gold is a 40watts Class A amp... very power full low kicker... or you can try to learn about Sigma amp.
I am in the way to build the 2nd Calor Gold amp for my friend after he got DR. Jagodic's permit.

Borivoje Jagodic is an Universitary, a College teacher, ....he teaches design..... audio design.....

He is the man... we are all people filled with curiosity....he is the man!
But there's a problem in this stuff....Bora always thinks people has enough know how not to overdrive, continuously, the amplifier while injecting square waves..... his designs are rational and do not suppose we can make foolishes..... all amplifiers can pop out if we manage to destroy them.... their amplifier are made for normal use... rational use.
I remember, once, a good friend that injected square waves, overdriving the system....you know, square waves generates a lot of harmonics...it is almost a short into the output...in the flat lines you see, the horizontal lines, what you see is DC from the supply...so... transistors saturated....all the current the supply can provide will go to the load crossing the output transistors...and as all of us know...when shorted, a small transformer can deliver a huge quantity of energy, several amperes... then the amplifier was damaged because tortured...and the guy became angry against Bora... was not fair his judgement... as Bora cannot detect, in advance, all kind of foolishes when can do.... we can reduce impedance...we can use passive crossovers with valleys of impedance.... we can have highly reactive loads... we can install small heatsinks inside a closed case, without ventilation...well.... we can kill almost all amplifiers....and the defect is not the amplifier...the defect is inside our mad mind.
Bora Amplifiers are made for music, not for noises, or continuous generated crazy tones, distorted continuous signal....it is calculated for music...if people may overdrive, or will try to inspect what happens .... in other words...if we try to kill an amplifier..then we will discover that, when we try hard to kill ....we really can kill an amplifier.
Some designer uses V/I limiters, an awfull solution that compresses and limits sound...reducing the dinamics...he has some amplifier without this terrible feature...but i imagine that he had introduced forced by the reality...some guys and kill an amplifier and blame the designer...so..... some designers kills the performance to avoid the complaint.

Dr. Bora himself had suggested to me the flatBT preamp and DOGC-H for a system I can retire with. What can be better than his own suggestion. I have made the Studio SE, a fantastic system and also the gut shaking SubZero. Yet on his recommendation I have procured the parts and made the PCB for the above and I am in the process of assembling it. This is the amp I am going to use in my retirement and kill the DIY bug that had possessed me for the last 40yrs. In the age group of Dr.Bora and 'Uncle' Carlos, I think after this amp I am going to sit back and enjoy music instead of listening to 'sounds'. You can ask Dr. Bora for the necessary info. Being a man with a double profession like me but far brilliant in electronics he is a very busy man. As he is kind hearted and lets others enjoys the fruits of his brainwork without making a buck out of it I am sure he will oblige you. All these designs have been tested by many and should have no problems. Have a nice time building it and dont forget to enjoy the music.

As I know that Dr. Bora will send you the file on your request & also some guidance if you need.
His design is not for commercial product because he is teaching at university &
we need to respect because his design is very valuable...
We can't just show schematic or PCB of his amp
because that's mean we don't respect Dr. Bora & the college, I hope you understand.
