Brüel & Kjær Type 1023 Sine Generator

Hello!

I have old broken Brüel & Kjær 1023 sine generator and need maintenance manual or just schematic diagrams for it.

Can anybody help?

I have asked manual or schematics direct from Brüel & Kjær and their agents, but they state, that they dont have product support for those old equipments anymore.

Moi! Well your not alone, I've obtained one three days ago, and it seems to work, but a circuit diagram and a user manual wouldn't be totally wrong... If you search for "1023" at Brüel&Kjær website you can get some service and tech specs, so you know how to connect the unit, I've also the Distortion Measurement Cntrl Unit Type 1902, and likewise, no service manual... but there are some info of the net, that is of some use anyways! Does anyone have a PDF service manual for the B&K 1023 Sine Generator? I've got a damaged one that I'm trying to repair. Something on the PSU board is loading the -15 V rail with about 3 Amps.

I found my 1023 service manual and can do paper copies on request.

Have a look at C314 and C315 1u5F tantalum caps (one of these is hidden under a cable tree) on this board.

Post 11 / 12: as always it turned out to be a short Tantalum cap on one of the supply lines.
There are plenty of these so it is useful to inspect with an ohmmeter of high resolution.

Yes, this is the one I send regularly, not sure who did the upload.
This is a photo scan however, may be useful if somebody does a
good scan of the service manual sometime.
