I thought this list is only for CD Players, and not also dedicated DAC products..


You should know that there is nothing special about WM8741. It is a garden variety switched-cap voltage output delta sigma DAC. There are better versions of this topology available, like AK4493, AK4497, and CS43198 to name a few.
CS43198 is the latest from Cirrus Logic,
do you know a good DAC Product that is based on it?
