Hi,
I've a couple of Scirocco S30 speakers. Both of the tweeters burnt out (I can hear just a very very very low sound) and I would like to swap them with new ones.
Unfortunately, speakers are not labeled and I have no idea of the exact specifics or brand.
Only basing on shape and physical measures, they look to be Vifa OC25SC65-04
http://lautsprecherversand.de/pdf/vifa/vifa_oc25sc65_04.pdf
But of course I can't be sure. Furthermore, my multimeter reads an impedance of 3.2 Ohm. I thought to read something around 8 Ohm!
Any help?

Hi,
Re of that tweeter is 3.2R as stated in the specification sheet.
The speaker is specced as 4 to 8 ohms impedance.
That means two 4 ohm drivers in my book.
If it drops into the front plate it is probably right.
rgds, sreten.
The S30 is also specced as having a first order x/o.
FWIW that tweeters ropey looking response is actually
ideal for a 1st order x/o. The tweeter is electrically
crossed over very high, flattening the big bump,
result is a 3rd order acoustic roll off at ~ 2KHz.
