Can you split xlr to rca into the MiniDSP

Is it possible to split the signal from the Behringer amp(6000) xlr to rca. Splitting the rca into two and connecting that to the output on the dsp?
Im not even sure you'd have full dsp on both lines separately correct?
How else do you run dsp on two speakers wired in series to an amp or is that only possible if they are connecting to their own separate inputs on the amp?
Ive been confused about this for a while and not sure ive found any good info online.

I know the moon audio adapters comes in any configuration imaginable for xlr input or output. I use a pair (rca male to xlr male) on my xlr inputs on my Avantone pro cla-200 power amplifier which has a toggle switch to lift the ground on pin 1 of the xlr’s and I don’t get hum in either setting.

I actually am not sure which is the correct setting but I figured the adapters are legit since I don’t get hum whether the ground on pin 1 is connected or not

If you are looking for a simple means to bridge an amplifier with RCA inputs for a single channel via miniDSP XLR output this should work fine for a single monophonic channel output. (If the outputs are fully balanced)

I have an SHD, but my system runs balanced from the output of the line stage to the SHD and hence to the crossovers and amplifiers.

Ideally one independent DSP channel would be dedicated to each speaker along with an amplifier for just that speaker.

I tried using the monoprice xlr to rca and they work find for me. Is it possible to split the rca out and get control over more than one channel? Or can you not split an output channel on the amp and eq the lines differently? Each output channel acts as one to whatever is connected into that?

Unfortunately no, but you could use an external equalizer or you could buy a 2 -in 4 or 8 out processor. Each XLR is a single dedicated channel, it is connected to one DSP channel and 1 DAC channel - mono.

What model do you have? And what are you using it for?

I'm not an expert so you might want to talk to the folk at MiniDSP about what you are trying to accomplish and let them guide you to the right device.

Are you saying you need to convert the XLR output into RCA??

How to Wire an XLR to an RCA Connector

I already have those cables to convert it I just don’t know if I can split off that cable into two separate outputs on a dsp. But makes sense you can’t. You can only tune one channel as a whole. If two speakers are wired together and sharing the same channel on the amp you can’t split that and control each speaker individually.
