Folks,
I was interested in building one of these, but I am a bit overwhelmed when trying to find a good chassis that's a good fit. Can someone help me with a specific model that works well as a chassis for the Whammy?

The Whammy board was designed to slide into this 220 x 165mm Hammond case:
1455T2201 Hammond Manufacturing | Mouser
or black - 1455T2201BK
Perfect fit, no pillars needed. It's cheap and cheerful but looks nice and gets you up and running quicker.
Have a look through the build thread for ideas on assembling the back panel, making sure there is an earth bond to the chassis.

My Whammy is built using the Hammond case.
It's quite small and you should plan the back panel carefully. The height is
about 2 inches so you need to take that into account when ordering caps and heat sinks.
