Chinese clones of Aleph 3

Recently I purchased a pair assembled boards of Aleph 3 from chinese manufacturer
(Link deleted)
Final assembly was carried out in accordance with the original guidance of Nelson Pass to aleph 3. It consists of power supply, electrolytic capacitors, cabinet etc.
After assembling the amplifier was tested and it was found that the frequency response has a decline of 8-10 dB from 15 kHz and above. Sonically it appears as a lack of high frequencies.Question. Did anyone experience these boards? What is the reason for the high frequencies decay?

I think it's kind of over the top for someone who is supporting a blatant rip off of intellectual property for profit, to come to the Pass Labs board looking for help to solve problems with the defective merchandise.

Aside from that, didn't you read the 9 negative feedback ratings from the past 12 months? 😱

Chinese seller ,perhaps,is guilty of two crimes:1.The non-payment of royalties to Nelson Pass(but maybe he sends them to the Pass by mail?🙂🙂🙂).2.The production of bad quality duplicates of Pass labs with the aim of obtaining maximum profit. The question arises.Should the members of the DIY community be grateful to Chinese friends for their "altruistic" help to facilitate their hobby?

Apart from the intellectual theft of the design.
Many of these kits are poorly manufactured, often containing errors.
Components are often of suspect or fake quality.

This may leave disappointed purchasers blaming the original design rather than the supplier.

Friends? only to those too Dim to comprehend that there is No Free Lunch
Think on that question when in the hospital and you are fed 'fake' pharmaceuticals..(these Are showing up in Hospital supply chains) that possibly contain Cow dung or foundry slag.
Cheating, as a business model, has a cost to all.

Not overly clever to encourage it.

Well, you're guilty of a crime too, for buying these rip offs, don't just blame it on the seller. I can assure you the seller sends no royalties to Pass
