Circle cutting jig recommended

This router jig was very good at making the holes in my new speaker project. Easy to use, not expensive and consistently accurate. I only had to make 8 holes of 2 sizes but they all turned out perfectly.

I have not seen that one before, but most of them are nearly identical. I think that mine is a Jasper jig which gives you the option of setting the jig to one size, going on to another, and then coming back to set the original size exactly.

Was just checking out the
“small circle compass “ website . Lot’s of affordable ideas.
Sure could allow me to make more accurate cut’s which can be difficult when you don’t have many tools or a shop to use them in

Haven't used the one in OP. The item in my attachment is excellent. Its the best jig I have used. It's designed for trim routers, and initially I thought that 1/4" trim router isn't the best plan. Then I used it and wondered why I dint use a trim router for holes all along. Thinking about buying a second trim router with jig mounted and dedicated to holes.

Here I’m looking for a circle jig and my router is nothing short of dangerous. Well it’s not that bad but it’s difficult to use. What I really need are suggestions for a router and a table. What are you guys using?
I recently replaced a crappy circular saw with a new skilsaw and I’m still flabbergasted at how much I enjoy using it. I’m an old guy who has always just made do. Maybe I’m getting past that?
Suggestions please
Best

What trim router’s are you considering?

I only occasionally need to make speaker cutouts, so I couldn't really justify buying a circle jig. I made this little gadget at work on my lunch hour, and it's attached to an old 5 Amp B&D router, which is more than enough for the 1/4" end mills I use. Nothing fancy, and you have to set it by hand with a tape, but it gets me by.
