No but I think I'm right in that the Clarity cap is metallized and the Audyn is foil
so ?
He's just implying that the Audyn is a Film and Foil, and the MR is a metallized poly film. They are constructed very differently.
I have both, but I've not compared them.

who tried tehese two caps ?
impressions ?
thank you
At least from Parts Express, the Audyn True Copper range seems really limited in values. Is there a better supplier?
also if you haven't compared them,. could you describe sound differences ?He's just implying that the Audyn is a Film and Foil, and the MR is a metallized poly film. They are constructed very differently.

i know is very difficcult....
treu copper are limited in values for audyncap choice, i'm sorryAt least from Parts Express, the Audyn True Copper range seems really limited in values. Is there a better supplier?
probably they are thinked to work in elettronics...
i'm not not intrested to rike, only true copper and MRRike do a new copper range. Not sure how high the values go tho.
diypass. Do you really think that 3.3uF copper capacitors at 200 Euro a pop are going to transform your speaker? 😕

Anybody who has done some measurements knows that foil capacitors are the bestest components in the audio repertoire. Regardless of what metal they employ or the oxide tarnish that builds up in time. Less than 0.1% distortion, which is considerably less than the figure from ferrite magnets in the drivers. 🙂
Spend more money on your drivers if you must.

I would suggest Jupiter over Audyn copper. Listened to both. Very tough call, both being excellent. Both give a more lush presentation than MR, with MR falling in the neutral column for me. That being said, it does not sound false or fake. I have only tried as coupling capacitors.

It appears that true copper caps are so good that if these were
implemented in the Space Shuttle Challenger, things might have
ended up differently. Who knows?

in what mr is lush......?, is the fisrt time i heard mr is lush...I would suggest Jupiter over Audyn copper. Listened to both. Very tough call, both being excellent. in what neutral column fail MR ?
i not heard this lush presentation....quite the contrary
mr is reach and natural jupiter to my taste is clumsy, swollen and scene is little
what model of jupiter you tried ?

i'm desagree in most of his impressions
You are entitled to your opinion as we all are.
However, I suggest you consider the fact that Gee basically lives with speaker building and claims he spends about a month listening to caps he puts in speakers before rendering his opinion.
Now, compare that with your survey of those who post here. How many of them do you think have spent the time Gee has?

Time spent is irrelevant if it's not spent doing good experiments. In this case, it's someone trying to sell something, so an extra degree of skepticism is warranted.
