i bought this colorfly ck4+ on ebay,and decided to open thread after finishing tweaking it
so i done some heavy mods,found some recommendations on the net but then decided to measure and replace everything in path of audio AC.
I found out that it had LPF set by default at 13khz so rising it to 24khz is a big improvement also set voltage gain higher so wont have to increase current,because all voltage is transformed to current and or output through headphones or returned.
replaced battery from 1400mah to 2600 and still stays low,can listen only 1-2 albums,but contented with quality,have brainwavz R1 and Klipsch Reference one. -i guess opamps eat a lot of the current,maybe will replace them with something from TI and not China even if quality is better than lm4562.
here is a picture with mods,covered battery in aluminium scotch for blocking interference from lithium ions.

Where did you get the info on how to do these mods?
Is anyone doing this as a service to your knowledge?
I have not been able to get the latest firmware installed.
The website does not accept my serial #. I bought the C4 on Ebay...
Any ideas where I can get the firmware .ISO file?

I suppose - I am looking for general info on upgrading the C4, and preferably a service provider who can perform the mods.
And, a source for the latest firmware .ISO, since I have not been able to get it from the manufacturer. If you have this and can send to me via WeTransfer or similar, that would be a great favor.
