Conference Room Projector

Im setting up a projector for a business conference room and need some ideas. Here is a little info about the current layout.

The Projector is ceiling mounted with a motorized screen at one end. Large conference table in the middle with two holes in the table with plates for network/phone connections, possibly vga. I have a 3/4 inch conduit from the ceiling (drop ceiling), then down the wall, to a faceplate in the floor below the table. Power connections are available in the floor and ceiling. On the wall that has the motorized screen, there is shelving that goes along the bottom area where the dvd/vcr/receiver will be.

I can easily run the cat5 cables down the conduit from ceiling to floor, that wont be a problem. But a VGA cable head (DB15) will no way fit in that. Now, i could cut the cable and put a fresh head when its through, but as of right now I have no experience doing that. (a little DB25 experience)

What im trying to figure out is what would be the best solution to make it easy for laptops to be hooked up to the projector for presentations. Video and Sound are both needed. The projector will also be hooked up to the dvd/receiver on the screen side of the room. i dont see the receiver being a problem as i will just run them up the wall and to the projector (rca/s-video).

On a side note, the office has a 100mb Cat5e network and a 11G wireless network.

Any ideas would be appreciated. If you need more info, just ask.

Thanks,
Mark
