great Idea to use relay Instead of muting transistor - but question Is how are this transistors placed on pcb In order to achieve that mod, maybe other most powerful transistors have to be used
also I have asked, but no one answered how much Is DC voltage offset before output caps In order to eliminate dc blocking caps from audio path

My review On the
LT3088
LT3015
After the conecting the power supplie
9+
9-
thet i build
To Denon 3910 I can say that the LT3088 and LT3015 Voltage Regulators are the best I've encountered .
They simply amazing.
After connecting the circuit in Denon I put a CD of Norah Jones And wow.. the bass is so accurately almost did not recognize my amp BMC AUDIO CS2
The separation has risen to another level
i Did not expect to such a change for the better
That the DENON before sounds awesome.
All voltage regulators That experimented with them
This pair is different level
Simply Recommended

After three years of work on the project
After finishing
Since i have a Another
Denon 3910
stock .
Project over the years
Moved hundreds of changes to the final result is amazing.
But because it's printed board DAC
Was not in the best condition.
So I removed all the parts
from the reserve 3910
And restructured
The DAC PCB
With all the changes.
In addition to all components that exactly matches the right and left channel
Additionally I changed the input voltage from the 5v to the 9v to the voltage regulators 3.3V that i add
Because taking 5V input from the lt1764
feed
The Voltage Regulators
* 3.3V
Led to the LT1764 overheat and fall of the voltage from 5V
To 1.5V
Now what +9V input
(LT3088)
Everything works perfectly
I also added thermal paste
ARCTIC MX-4
For all voltage the regulators that i built

2 things you have not tried
- remove output caps - 10 uF ( at least check dc ofset before cap )
- discrete op amps and regulators - sparkos labs, burson audio

linear technology reg for me is the best.....
discrete reg never never
The whole idea was that I would build the power supply according to my design.
The only thing that changed this clock as long as I do not have spectrum analyzer
I will not build the clock. 🙂

I must admit I have only just seen this thread as I was about to dismantle my highly modded 3910 as it is now a problem with its 5th set of Lazers (I can change it blindfold) Personally I think anyone who mods a machine without getting the signal path correct in the first place is wasting their time. All vishay bulk foils are required. The design is well overcomplicated for an audio board and the clock problems (servo) made it a waste of time trying too hard .I spent 5 years) Keeping the temp of power supply regs down was a help and certainly changing a lot of caps to remove the graininess.SWMPs is not that good.
Must admit I may sell my output and power boards off cheap as Ive had my moneys worth.
Never really found any op amps that did not make the failings of this machine more obvious overall.

Another change I made the audio circuit
I changed Amps
In the I / V
From LM4562
To LT1469-2
this Op Amps
ar amazing
From all the Op Amps
I have tried they are the best
( in the buffer / comparator op amp stage i changed the LM4562 to LT1364 )
