Has anyone heard of Dibeisi speakers?
Please don't hate me for asking this. I know these speakers may be pure crap but you never know...

As expected, I couldn't find specs for the speakers on the page, so maybe someone here has something to tell me about them.

chinaware speakers
I do not know about that brand of speakers, but those woofers available in Mexico, imported from China are only cheap, no more than that.
Certainly they look nice, but not one parameter is under control, not for fs, nor Znom, nor Qts, and additionally the dustcap comes with so little adhesive that some produced buzzes that you need to fix them.
I think that similar troubles happen with tweeters.
And I am talking only of the units. I hadn't say nothing about the sound quality.
Any way, if you want to try using them, I say you:
good luck!
Cheers.

A few subjective issues that may give a hint about this kind of companies are:
- The large range of products (quantity rather than quality)
- Even the most basic params, like Fs and Qts, aren't present (well, stating that Fs is around 100 Hz and Qt over 1 wouldn't do much favor to them, neither lying)
- The typical extravagant look of all sub-mediocre asian crap screams "crummy"
Anyway, I was just asking... Like I said, you never know.

Dibeisi Loudspeakers in action
I purchased a pair of Dibeisi passive loudspeakers 2 years ago. The first pair I got were junk. They looked great, but buzzed because of there poor construction. They were a plastic cabinet. So I exchanged them for a wood construction that had a cast 15 inch driver, compression tweeter and 4 piezo electric tweeters. Once I disconected the piezo's they sounded great. I run them with qsc amps and there sound reproduction is great. They have been run at 350 watts each for 8hrs at a time on all my gigs for the past 2 yrs and I have not had a single problem. I run them with a Mackie SRS1500 subwoofer and the whole thing sounds great. So... use caution when purchasing, but don't let the name scare you off. I have had great luck and saved a few bucks. -Richard
