Thanks. I kinda have the battery thing figured out. I am more interested in how to put it together, parts used, battery management, etc.

Also I have to use 18650 in this build due to very limited size in the compartment. I have pre-built batteries that use 26650 and the play and play and play for days. I just can't use them in this build due to their size.

I am going to use 4 16650s. I know I won't get the play time, but I don't think I need it to play all day.

BTW, I have heard good things about those batteries. I would be hesitant to order from China these days. I have some other stuff that has been sitting in China waiting for a plane for 7 weeks now.

Use this for battery management, these work great and are very small. I'd go as far as saying that these are the gold standard for R/C flying. I'd roughly recommend a cutoff voltage of ~2.9v to~3.0v per cell. You'll also need a 4S balance charging wire.

Will that BMS board work with LifeP04 batteries or only Li-ion?

Edit: Sorry, I see its just a voltmeter.

It is a MANUAL BMS module. When the alarm goes off, You'll Know It...

Yes, it will work great with LifeP04 batteries.
