Do FiiO X3, FiiO X5, HIFI WALKER H2 sound better than a CDP?

Hello, do you think that FiiO X3 or FiiO X5 or HIFI WALKER H2 can take the place of a CD player in Home audio, if connected directly via RCA to a power amplifier?

Can their sound and audio-out line compete with a CD player when play digital lossless music from SD?

Depends on the CD player but in principle yes it can compete well. It would have a considerable advantage over a CD player because its battery powered, hence isolated from mains.
