I’ve been shopping around for a while trying to find one I really like. I‘ve especially liked Cardas and Furutech especially. Any brands or models you particularly like?

He's not been very clear describing them as 'connectors' to be fair 😛

I've heard that Vampire is out of production, with sales limited to the remaining stock,

Dunno if true but prices on Vampire have steadily been rising for many years. Lack of new stock sounds like a good explanation.

I've tried the REAN connectors, but was not impressed, at least with the NYS373. I liked their chrome-bodied plugs more, but I tend to use thiccc cables, which they do not fit.
I do like Vampire, I will see you on that tip! I hope Parts Connection continues production. I like that the line goes from basic, cheap products up into premium and pricy stuff. Most brands pick one space or the other.
