Hello! I was listening to music on Youtube and saw a good song, I wanted to download that song to my computer but I don't know how to do it. I followed the ways on Google instructions but still with no success.

i would recommend to download the Firefox browser.
Then, install the VideoHelper extension in the browser.

I use Firefox with the add-on SaveFrom.net helper. However some video/music block this. One could also use OBS studio to capture the stream. Audacity can strip the audio from various video files. All these are open source aps.
I use the "y2mate" converter above because it includes the time length reference that is necessary to burn the file to a CDR disk. However this site tries to get you to load junkware/malware onto your computer. Be very careful when using this converter.

Youtube-dl is a command line based software
On linux the command line instruction is:
youtube-dl -f m4a (youtube address of song)
The m4a bit selects the best quality version available - you need to update youtube-dl regularly.
