Down south of Wilmington, N.C. I spotted a bit of irony. An apartment complex called "Tesla Park." The irony being that it is right beside an electrical substation and some massive power distribution and transmission lines.
What would Nikola have thought? 😕

I wonder if the residents of that apartment complex get to see stuff like this:

That's not irony, irony would be if it were right next to an oil refinery. I would call it coincidence.
Yes it's irony - pure and simple. Tesla wanted wireless electrical distribution, this place is surrounded by wires carrying electricity.
Would have been ironic if that place would have been called 'Edison Park', given that Tesla invented AC while Edison fought tooth and nail (and dirty) to get his DC system adopted.
At the moment I see nothing ironic about it.

That would have been ironic, indeed! But more subtle.
Irony is in the eye of the beholder, I suppose.
