EQP-KT Valve EQ mod advice please

I'm trying to improve the sound of this EQ but there are no schematics. Anyone have a clue what should be replaced for improvement? I'm mainly interested in the path of the valves. Thanks

You are going to have difficulty finding better caps that won't be difficult to fit to a pcb.
Regardless, the two yellow 104/250, the 224/63 and the red one at C13 appear to be in the audio path. Possibly the two black/blue electrolytics may be cathode bypass caps.

Don't be tempted to go for lower voltage ratings to save space, particularly with C13 and the two 104 which have to be at least 250v rated.

A friend handed these to me and said it could do with replacing the old capacitors and if I could also improve the quality by replacing some of the audio path capacitors. It won't hurt to replace some of the important looking stuff for something higher quality

So you want to replace components by a word from a friend ? Have you tested it "as is " to see if there is anything wrong with them ? If not, how would you deem if your replacements will improve or worsen the sound ?

It's not uncommon knowledge that replacing the capacitors improves the sound quality. It's working perfectly as is. I already ordered a few replacement parts around the valve as suggested by another kind member
So, if working perfectly what is expected from a switch ?

Excuse me, but i do not see the logic. It's working perfect. Why risk making it worse or even damage it ?
