I recently purchased a Bass Guitar enclosure with two 18 inch carvin woofers off of good ole craigslist. My goal is to use my QSC 1400 to drive one carvin 800 RMS 8 OHM speaker. The manual online said 600 rms bridges at 8 Ohms.

I used the signal out of my iphone into a behringer mixer, into my QSC 1400. The sub can get loud! but plays to many mids and even highs. I feel like I need some kind of subwoofer crossover to clean out the signal to hear only BASS. Any help on this would be great!!

Or build a 4th order low pass filter with a cut off of 80 Hz, using a couple of op amps.
