FS: vintage Crown VFX2 crossover- serviced!

I've owned this Crown VFX2 for many years, but after I replaced my Crown PSA-2 amplfier this crossover didn't match the look of my new equipment and I boxed it up. There it has sat for the last few years.

This unit was serviced by John Haines, who used to be Crowns service manager. John replaced all the caps, cleaned the pots and switches, and _maybe_ replaced the op-amps with at-that-time new RC4558's (which are the _proper_ op-amps to use for this unit).

He also sold me extra knobs and one of the original "decorative smoked acrylic overlays". The overlay has two knobs, but I never did figure out how it is designed to be mounted- which didn't matter since I never intended to use it.

I put the best looking knobs on the unit. They are not new, but look pretty good.

You can see in the photos that the unit does have a few scratches and marks.

I did power it up the other day to make sure it still works fine. This is somewhat of a rare item, particularly since it has been properly serviced and has new components. I'd like to get $300 plus shipping for it, but will consider reasonable offers. Probably only USA, since shipping across borders nowadays is so full of hassle and expense. PayPal accepted if you pay the fee, otherwise check or cash works very well.

Also included will be a copy of the parts list, which has schematics. You can still find the manual free online.

Gee, I'm surprised no one has snapped this up. When available, these always sell for about $200, before refurbishing. One sold on eBay two months ago or so for over $400, but it was pristine.

I'll lower the price to $220 plus shipping.

If still no one wants it, well, I'll just box it up for a few more years until I need it for another setup.

Even if you don't own Crown equipment, this is a good unit. 18dB/octave with adjustable frequency crossover, this is great for any subwoofer or bi-amp setup.
