Hello everyone, Happy Thanksgiving if you're in the US!
I am placing an order for some parts from DigiKey and I was thinking it would be nice to have a basic assortment of fuses on hand, just in case. Can anyone recommend a certain kit or specific ones i can order that usually are good to have? Both for solid state and tube.
Thank you in advance for your help!

0.1A, 0.2A, 0.5A, 1A, 2A, 5A in slow and fast blow in the size you normally use.
I would also get the ceramic (sand filled) ones because they, unlike the clear/glass ones, do not shatter and leave glass shards everywhere...

In my neck of the woods, we run 230V mains so my choice is always for 250V. I think that that would be a good universal choice even if your mains is 110-120 (likely considering your flag...)
Ahh I see, okay my rookie mindset was thinking the higher volts were for tube amps but now that my brain is coming back to me I get it, the voltage depends on your line voltage, thank you!
You are not entirely wrong.
The fuse voltage rating is related to the voltage that you expect to 'see' across the fuse. The two most common applications are for mains (therefore, 125 and 250V ratings) and automotive (therefore 32V) power supplies.
But you can buy fuses with voltage ratings from 5V to 1.5kV
