hanging low/subwoofer box

Have anyone done it? I saw it in the PA world. My living room is reasonable small, doing this will preserve space at maximum possible. The small top speakers will be hang in the wall also. I am intend to minimize the weight as possible roughly ~25lbs or less.

I apologize for bad English writing.
I meant suspending from the ceiling and not touching the front wall. I prefer not to hanging in the wall. It's will be for mostly music at low/medium level~80dB 13 feet away. The mid/high box and low/sub are at the same height ~5 feet.

Can work very well, but depends on your build ability and imagination. Any particular speaker drivers? I would suggest a pancake style sub driver in a disc enclosure for subs and a pair of satellites on welded chains for hanging looky effect. It's quite easy to use modern consumer tech tools to execute something like this in grand style

I have 12" subs hanging in my shop. Sonotube with plywood endcaps connected by hard wood slats makes for a very light build that is easy to hang. They have a 2.5 cubic foot volume and I easily hung them myself. Wrap them in fabric for a nicer look. There are plenty of very high strength nylon line options today that are virtually invisible. If you make sure to hit your truss/floor joists and pre drill the holes, you do not need very big eyelet screws at all.
