Hello I own this tube amplifier since i bought it new from the authorize dealer. All that time I've been listen the unit with the factory Chinize tube Electron tube EL34 B but now I buy a matched Quad of Mullard MULLARD Re-Issue EL34/6CA7 (Platinum Matched Quad) | eBay and I want to know if i must tune the bias for the new output tubes or just replace the tube without any bias tuning is there any danger of damage for the new tubes?
thanks
thanks
If it is a bias adjustable amp, you should always adjust bias at least when changing tubes.
This one (if I recall correctly) is via a voltage measurement of a 10Ohm resistor, set to 350mV..
Please check manual.

Thank You for your reply but because i can't see any trimmer on the surface of the amplifier so if this amplifier can't tune the bias is it safe for the amplifier and for the new replace tube just to replace with out any tune. Also can you provide any more detail how i can tune the tube via (voltage measurement of a 10Ohm resistor, set to 350mV)?
Verions my differ, but there were 4 big grey 10Ohm resistor and for RV inside.
