I am not talking from experience but from what I have read on news groups and avsforum that is the big problem with glass bead screens. There is no real way to clean them. I think you best bet is going to be buy a new one unless some one with experience knows something different. They are not too expensive on ebay $150 after shipping for a 96x72 screen. Not to change topic but I was thinking about getting one even though it may have a semi short life span. How long did it take for your screen to need cleaning and does it really give you that extra punch in colors?
Ya this screen was given to me by a friend it is pretty dirty...but i'll tell you what it is a lot brighter then my white wall! But from what i see there are some bad sides like the hot spots where there can be spots the refect better and it's beat if your right in front of the screen. Space Ninja you might want to search or start a new thread on what screens ar best.
I just thought of one thing I never heard any one doing this but maybe it will work. Get a spray bottle with some bleach and water and lightly mist the screen.
What if you soak it in some kind of heavy duty cleanser? Maybe a bathtub for a day or two?
Not sure what would be the best cleanser, but make sure it something that doesn't harm the glass or whatever material is used to string them.
Also, might try using really hot water in this soak. If it is anything that is alive, some heat should do it good.
Hope I've helped!

It's Been Sometime
Well i 🤐ed around with lots of cleaners and I ended up just taking a soft brush (shoe shine one) and a bucket of hot soapy water and brushed it real good......Well it worked Great!
Exept for to tons of glass beads i lost, but now i can use it and not have to stare at the ugly spots.
To sum up a bucket of hot soapy water will clean a glass bead screen....but you will lose a lot of glass beads.
