Help with Rotel RB-980

My RB-980BX was stuck in protection mode. I checked every component on the circuit board, replaced a couple of resistors that were slightly out of spec and replaced all the smaller caps. I could not find any issues with the output transistors with my DMM or the four large caps so I left those as is. There are 4 internal fuses and they are all functional. Rail voltages are OK and transformer voltages are spot on. No obvious signs of burnt out components or damaged board from heat. Still stuck in protection. Any ideas as to what could be the problem are welcome!!!

All the capacitors were replaced with new Nichicon caps with the exception of the 4 large 10,000UF caps. Actually I also tested it with 4 new 10,000 caps that were purchased for another amp and it still remained in protection mode.

At this point, and not knowing the servicer's competence level, I'm at a loss.
It would have to be on my service bench in front of me to do proper troubeshooting.
Sorry, but the internet isn't perfect for diagnosing this sort of thing.
Old school ways are the best - take it to a competant technician familier with Rotel.
