Hooking up PA speakers in my Car

You are crazy.

You could probably use the car's existing battery for power, with some heavy-gauge wiring to an inverter inside the cabin, which would provide power for the speakers.

All that said, why do you want to do this?
IMO, its a recipe for going very deaf, very quickly. These speakers don't produce a lot of <50Hz bass, but, in a car they'll produce the mid-high range at stupid volumes.

My favorite information to be found was here: https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070831184029AAwUfyy

"All of you haters are retarted! I have 2 10's 2 15"s and an 18" pa setup in my car - ran it off a power converter to the power amp - to the mixer - all my speakers are peavey and THEY SOUND SWEEEET! GREAT WAY TO **** PEOPLE OFF AT STOP LIGHTS AND SHAKE THEIR SOULS!"

reason for doing this is it's an RV conversion van so i'm not worried about space too much. And the option to save money on good speakers for my car, and then use those same speakers for a DJ set elsewhere is a nice $ option! Will the PA speakers sound like crap at volumes I want to listen to in the car>?
