The dbx manual does not provide a diagram/drawing of how to connect a preamp/amplifier to dbx 234 crossover. I can't find a video in English that shows how to connect. Please help.
I'm attempting to connect 2-way speakers to an active crossover to a McIntosh MC2205 and a preamp.
Do I Connect the preamp outputs to the amplifier, the speaker outputs are connected to the crossover inputs, then the mid/high outputs and low/mid outputs are connected to their respective drivers on the speakers?
I've looked all over the internet and am confused...

An active crossover goes before the power amplifier(s). It works at line level, not speaker level.
You need more than one stereo amplifier to use an active crossover. See fig. 2.3 here:
Active Vs. Passive Crossovers

That's more or less the right way. Observe all polarities.
But you only have two amplifier channels (one stereo amp).
You need a total of four amplifier channels (two stereo amps) for a pair of two way speakers.
You need one stereo amplifier for the two woofers,
and another stereo amplifier for the two tweeters.
The two amplifiers can be the same, or different, depending on the details.
Often a lower power stereo amplifier is used for the tweeters.

Thank you, Rayma.
I have two of the same amps. I'll try this.
Got nothing better to do while I'm "working" from home...

Make sure you follow the crossover instructions carefully. You don't want
to damage the speakers during the set up process.

One thing many people should always do as a common practice; turn ALL gain, level, volume controls to MINIMUM before powering on and off all electronics; this can save drivers, etc. from any loud, un-expected "pops" or bursts. Some electronics are not well behaved during power up and/or power down; very strong signals can pass through the chain and really mess things up. A very easy thing to do and I ALWAYS do it EVERY time and have done so for over 50 years. Your electronics and drivers will survive a lot longer for sure!
Slowly bring up the levels after power up; that way, if anything has gone wrong, connected wrong, etc.; you can catch it in time before any permanent damage might occur!
