How to identify genuine Motorola MC7815CK voltage regulator?

The part I'm repairing uses these in TO3 format, which doesn't seem to exist anymore. If there are still genuine parts available, how would I identify them?

Yes, but it is the military and aerospace version, hence the high price.

many manufacturers have offered metal can 15V regulators. You may use any others brands. Else LM7815K, LM340K-15V... or LM317K with mods.

What do I need to match, output voltage, current capacity, input voltage? Anything else?

Motorola Semiconductor became Onsemi in 1999 so any "Motorola" part will be old
