The part I'm repairing uses these in TO3 format, which doesn't seem to exist anymore. If there are still genuine parts available, how would I identify them?
EDIT: Would this be a drop-in substitute? https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Texas-Instruments/LM140K-15

many manufacturers have offered metal can 15V regulators. You may use any others brands. Else LM7815K, LM340K-15V... or LM317K with mods.
If your still looking let me know.
I may have an original.
My stock is over 30 yes old from when I had a repair shop
